The Restoration of Tattered Rose!

After a 3 week closure for landord repairs to the building Tattered Rose is located in, we are pretty much ready to reopen on Thursday, January 19th!

For now, we will maintain our hours of Wed through Saturday, 11 am to 3 pm. We might expand these hours closer to Spring....we'll see how things go.

Looking forward to Spring and Spring clothing!!

Bye for now....hope to see you soon.

A New Year Often Comes with Changes.....

Most of our regular customers know that our store has been made to close from Jan. 2 - Jan. 19 because of pipe repairs by the landlord in our space.

It is not easy to see almost 3/4 of your store pushed aside and moved to make room for the work that is being done. It is also not easy to not be available for our customers during this part of the winter, when a little bit of retail therapy and/or a social visit would help so much.

BUT, that being said, we are so looking forward to re-opening next week (if all goes well with the job) and starting our Spring displays in the store.

We have a new line coming soon...Les Ours from France. It is a very romantic and beautfully made with an artisan aesthetic that fits so perfectly with Tattered Rose and the other lines we carry, including Magnolia Pearl and Carol Simon (our exclusive designs hand made in Alberta)

We are looking forward to seeing our customers again, putting the store back together, longer days, and new clothing!

Please stay tuned...

Our Final Message for 2022

The end of what seems like a very long year for us at Tattered Rose and most likely many of our customers...interesting, rewarding and at times challenging. But we are here to wish all of our customers and friends a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and/or Happy Holidays, which ever fits your beliefs at this time of year.

For many of us, our lives and values may have changed over the last 3 years. Hopefully, we all have hope for a meaningful life and brighter future. The giving of gifts seems to have become more special as we choose more carefully and perhaps support local small businesses more that ever before. These small business owners are the people who live amongst us and who work so hard to share their vision with their customers in a caring and thoughtful way.

We want to wish everyone a wonderful holiday season and a better year ahead. Thank you for your continued support through some difficult times. We truly appreciate you!

Our holiday store hours are this year are:

Wed. December 21- Sat, December 24 11 am to 3 pm

Wed. December 28, 29 and 30 11 am to 3 pm

CLOSED Sat. December 31

*We will also be closed for some part of January (TBA) for repairs to the pipes in our store by the building owners. Stay tuned for exact dates.

The Latest News from Tattered Rose

We apologize for not posting on our blog very often...life has been hectic.

However, we wanted to share our latest inspiration we call our "ATTIC COLLECTION" Any of our regular customers know that Tattered Rose has always had elements of the attic collection....clothing and jewellery you might find in your Grandma's attic. From a different era when people dressed up more than they do today.

We decided this type of clothing we sell deserved it's own category, so to speak and so we are sharing it with you today:

The ATTIC COLLECTION by Tattered Rose will have exclusive, mostly one-of-a-kind items that are either crinkled, nostalgic and/or tattered but very wearable today. They evoke bygone eras where an appreciation for beautiful clothing was evident in the fabrications and embellishments they possessed.

Stay tuned for more from this collection by tuning in to our Instagram page:
