You know that expression "pretty in pink"?
Well, we are loving pink right now.....it is such a pretty colour....so feminine and romantic♥
I never know how my day at the store is going to go....and yesterday
was an interesting & inspiring one! I love days like that....
A young lady, who is a beautiful model, came in with her Mom...they
were looking for clothing for the daughter to wear for an upcoming photo
shoot with a local photographer. The theme of the shoot, as described
by the Mom, was "hipster romantic bohemian" I exclaimed "That's Tattered
Rose!" to which they both replied "We know...that's why we're here!"
She found one dress that was perfect and we plan to collaborate in the
near future on a Tattered Rose photo shoot....stay tuned.
The
other interesting thing that happened was an American musician and his
wife (who is from Canada) were looking around....after a lengthy
conversation, I found out that they live in Nashville and have one of
those inspiring love stories that had me fascinated with how wonderful
human beings are. I am always up for a great "how we met" story and
theirs was one of the best.
They kinda know Keith Urban and
Nicole Kidman and a bunch of other musicians and artists down there...I
must have seemed like a star struck goofball...but that's just the way I
am.
As many years as I have been on this earth, I never want to stop being pleasantly amazed at people and the world around me.
Inspiring day....so happy I decided to be open on a holiday weekend.
.....is on a long weekend like the Victoria Day long weekend. Many people are gone camping and/or out of town so there are no crowds to face.
Peaceful shopping.......we like that♥
