Extended Shorter Hours

Tattered Rose is extending it's shortened hours for at least one more week.

We will be open Wed-Sat 11-3 until February 10, 2018.

Of course, if you show up at our door at 2:59 pm, we will stay open for you!

After that, we will return to our much longer hours (Wed-Fri 11-4 and Sat 11-3)

Tattered Rose is sometimes a place for miracles.....whether it is old friends seeing each other for the first time in years while they are both shopping in the store, or the discovery of a brilliant & talented young singer who agrees to be a part of your in-store shopping events.....or what happened yesterday, quite by chance.

How many female carpenters do you know? I know exactly two, and they are both my customers & now friends. And they both ended up in Tattered Rose yesterday at the same time.

They were introduced to each other and I suddenly realized and said out loud to them "You are BOTH carpenters!" The look of recognition in their eyes was a thing to behold as they talked of similar career paths and experiences in their lives.

Even though they are from different generations, there was a kinship that we all recognized and the three of us chatted and laughed for quite some time, sharing stories and goosebumps. Kindred spirits enjoying our time together.

Before they left, contact info was exchanged and I am sure that they will be lifelong friends who happened to meet in Tattered Rose a few days before Christmas 2017.  It was a small but meaningful miracle to witness and I was so grateful to be a part of it.

Women are the best & the strongest when we stand together. This is something I believe with every fibre of my being and also what is behind everything I do for my customers and the store. Tattered Rose is here to help you express yourself through the clothing you wear and if we become friends at the same time, all the better.....the gift of friendship is something to be treasured that is beyond the store/customer relationship.

Now, these are the kind of miracles I adore!

The last few days before Christmas....

These are the last days before Christmas and your shopping is probably winding down a bit as you search for those last few gifts for your wife, friend, niece, daughter.....and we have lots of perfect gifts for her in the store.

Plus, we have GIFT CERTIFICATES for those who are overwhelmed with choices. Let her choose what she would like. It's a win-win situation, no?

Tattered Rose will be open Thursday & Friday from 11-4 and Saturday from 11-3 but closed on Christmas Eve. because that falls on a Sunday and we have our own Christmas-y stuff to do.
