What's next?
Tattered Rose' storefront has been (temporarily) obscured by scaffolding for repairs to the condo building we are in.
Please don't think that we have closed...we are still here! There IS access to our front door behind the scaffolding!
One of our friends/customers brought some toy hard hats for the
mannequins to wear during this phase we like to call "The Great
Scaffolding Event"
Gotta keep our sense of humour about it.

We love the "colour" BLACK at Tattered Rose and so, as it seems, do most of our customers, who are not cats....
Black is universal, goes to just about any event you can think of (yes, even a wedding) suits every lifestyle and is flattering to most women, even if you're not supposed to wear black.
There are women who probably should wear brown instead of black due to their warm skin tone and/or hair colour BUT let's face it....there is no other colour that is so cool & timeless and that requires no explanation.
We could say that black is the "cat's meow" but that would be goofy, wouldn't it?
So, if you love wearing black, go ahead. Just do it....and yes, Tattered Rose carries a LOT of black clothing & jewellery all year 'round.

Tattered Rose is back!
We have tons of new ideas and along with new (vintage) items that will be added to our repertoire!
Open 11 am - 4 pm today and regular hours thereafter.
It's good to be back!

We love our customers!
It was a great day today....just busy
enough to still be able to provide personal service with a tranquil
environment and wonderful music playing in the background.
One of
our customers who bought her wedding dress from us in Winnipeg 10 years
ago found us here in Edmonton. She needed a dress for a special event
and found us by googling "gowns & dresses in Edmonton" or something
like that. Today when she came in, the first dress she tried on was the
one and she left very happy....and so
was I....not only because we had a perfect gown waiting for her but also
because she never really forgot about Tattered Rose, even after all
these years!
Then a new
customer found us because she was looking for Sympli the Best clothing.
She also left very happy with her new additions to her wardrobe and I was
so happy to meet her and her man, who waited in our "husband chair"
while she tried things on. What a nice couple.
We also had one of
our special and most lovely customers drop by to say hi. She happened
to find a few items of clothing she needed in her wardrobe. too.
It is such a good feeling to know that our customers are so loyal. We
sure do appreciate each and every one of you and welcome impromptu
visits.
